5 Simple Steps
Complete these 5 steps before you jump all in and they will be a big help when your business really takes off and you are too busy handling the fun challenges that come with growth.
- Determine your organizational structure. For example, will you be solo, incorporate, or have a partner?
- Register your business name with your state.
- Apply for an Employer Identification Number at the IRS website.
- Open a business bank account.
- Track all of your income and expenses on a monthly basis.
I just started my business by writing this blog, but before I published my first post I did take the 5 steps listed below. I wanted to put a few things in place first and get started on the right foot to prepare for the future. I want you to get started the right way too. While you may not need all of these things to actually start your Internet business they will all help formalize the beginning of your business. Why not get your new business off to a great start?
